As you mentioned,
He was supposed to use one dose per week,
He used 2 doses,
But as his condition is remedy would not produce any sore throat.
For now, stop using Lyco 200C
Let him use remedy Belladonna 30C and Ferrum Phos 30C
one dose bell 30C after 3 hours Ferrum Phos 30C
then one dose bell 30C after 3 hours Ferrum Phos 30C
Alternate remedies every 3 hourly
Let him gargle with salt mixed water.
Do not let him east sore, fried and cold food items.
Let him eat a light diet and let rest.
Keep using above 2 remedies until he gets much better
I will let you know when to use Lyco again.
