Hello My name is Rebecca. I have had my gall bladder out in may 2012. I have had issues similar to ibs since having it removed. my grandmother on my mothers side had silica disease, my dad has ibs and something else that he was told was related to his diabetes and my cousin on my dads side has diverticulitis. I have more trouble with eating things like salad and veggies more so then fatty foods although they sometimes bother me. I was told by a friend that I should look into taking some kind of digestive enzyme to help me break down the food I am eating. I have been gaining weight even though I am trying to diet. I don't exercise as much as I should. I recently had blood work done and don't have a problem with my thyroid. my vitamin d was low and I am taking a vitamin (1600 a day) At first I could have a drink of water and be running to the bathroom with diarrhea but now it seems to be better. I feel very bloated often and although I have been seeing a nutritionist and following her advise and eating 1500 cal. or less a day I seem to have gained aprox 10 lbs in the last 6 months. My family dr doesn't think I need to take anything and just said that I have a sensitive stomach and need to just be careful of what I eat now. I was wondering if a digestive enzyme may help and how to go about choosing one. Or if I should look for a dr in the area that works with homeopathic solutions.

After studying your present symptoms it seems you are suffering form IBS, as your physician says may be you have a sensitive stomach but you are suffering a lot and only by watching what you eat and having digestive enzyme you can not expect a complete cure.

So I would recommend consulting homeopath present in your area as soon as possible.

Present homeopath not only prescribe best possible homeopathic remedy for your treatment, but also help you with your further treatment needs and prescribe other needed remedies as it seems appropriate to him or her.
