The basic principle of homeopathic dosage is that less is more. With conventional medication the norm is to take a certain number of doses or to continue taking it on an ongoing basis. With homeopathic remedies you should take just enough to stimulate a response and then stop and let the immune system take over. The remedy acts as a trigger.

So to answer you question, once you experience any kind of definite response, you should stop taking the remedies. I would s

also advocate taking only one at a time. The ideal scenario is to consult a practitioner and have a full consultation as there is no one size fits all in homeopathy. A face to face consultation would involve a full case taking lasting several hours and the prescription would be individualised to your particular symptoms. If you do decide to proceed with the remedies you have purchased, here is some general information about taking homeopathic remedies. As with all homeopathic remedies, you need to avoid brushing your teeth, eating or drinking for twenty minutes either side of taking it as this can antidote the remedy. For the same reason it is best to avoid any coffee, large quantities of mint or the use of strong smelling substances such as menthol, tea-tree or eucalyptus whilst on a course of homeopathic treatment.

So to be clear, once you experience a positive response, stop the remedy. After waiting a little while, if improvement stops, continue taking it for a little longer. If you experience a negative response take no further doses.

You're welcome. In homeopathy there are different approaches to treatment. These drops constitute an approach called organ support which is aimed at strengthening a particular organ. This contrasts with constitutional prescribing which finds a remedy for the person overall, incorporating all of their current symptoms. With constitutional prescribing a positive response will be indicated in many ways eg improved energy levels, more positive state of mind, improvement in a wide variety of symptoms, better sleep ... It is harder to identify improvement with an organ support. It is possible you will notice subtle changes in some of the areas I mentioned eg your energy levels. Also, if your blood pressure and pulse rate respond favourably, that would also be a positive indication. I would suggest taking Unda 248 for one month and then assessing how you are feeling with the above information in mind. If at any point you feel worse in any way, stop the remedy. This remedy has not been individualised to your specific symptoms and you cannot be sure it will be what you need.
