Hi there, I am Dr. Camp.

Yes, there are several things you can do and I would start dosing them today. First, for the trauma of any surgery we use homeopathic Arnica, 30C, dosed 2-3 times before surgery and for a few days after. This will help with pain, the injury of surgery and bruising.
Dr-Camp :
I would also suggest homeopathic Staphysagria which is used whenever a cut is being made into the body. Same dosing and same strength.

Last, to help with the anesthesia directly, 1 dose of Nux vomica before surgery and then another 2 doses as soon after sugery as possible. After the surgery, you can dissolve all the remedies is water and dose them that way as taking the pellets may be uncomfortable.

You can pick all three of these up at most local health food stores.

Also, you may want to consider giving some Vitamin C to help with tissue healing. 250 mg twice before and then once a day for a week afterwards.

About the labeling of homeopathic remedies: most homeopathic remedies can be used for many different symptoms. When remedies were approved by the FDA they required "1" condition to be put on the label. Keep in mind, if your homeopath suggested a remedy, that you can basically ignore the "condition" listed on the label as that is VERY outdated and is not relevant.
