Hello There, My name is***** eighteen years old. I've had a hell of an experience with acid reflux or gastritis. I've had it since ninth grade, so four years almost five. I have 'acid attacks' where I feel a huge pressure on my chest or sternum, and feel as if I need to constantly fan myself to get air to yawn/burp. I wake up in the morning with a sore throat, or hoarse voice. I'm a singer, so this is taking a horrible toll on something I've wanted to pursue since I was five. I really want to be assured that there is a permanent way to get rid of this. I feel hopeless. I've had a bunch of problems with it and find it extremely debilitating and I'm constantly afraid of "stomach pains." I went to the doctor (urgent care) and he told me that my lower abdominal pain needed to be further assessed and have appendicitis ruled out, so he referred us to the ER. The doctor at the ER decided I had gastritis after running tons and tons of tests. She put me on a prescription medication starting with an A (can't think of the name) took one dose, I was fine. I was prescribed 2 doses a day. I took the next dose at night, and had a horrible problem. My legs cramped up to the point where I couldn't walk and laying down did NOT help, and I had bloody stool. The symptoms of cramping is still a minor problem sometimes, but the bloody stool issue went away. I quickly ran as fast as I can in the other direction of that medicine and didn't take it again. I, then, went to a gastroenterologist specialist who gave me the same medication as the gastroenterologist, not trying to diagnose me himself but only listening to the ER's diagnosis, and gave me that medication in a smaller dosage. Not wanting to take the risks of the medicine again, I didn't take that one either. I, then, went to a homeopathic doctor who "probed" me in my hands and feet, and probed multiple times "trying to find the right location" and watched a screen generate a chart that gave her the results that I had chronic gallbladder and thyroid problems and kidney stones. My dad shook his head at this result as I'd know if I was passing Kidney Stones, and I'm eighteen. They prescribed me drops for thyroid, and gallbladder which my dad advised me not to take as during the tests in the ER, these things hadn't been noted. I'm looking for a homeopathic remedy, to CURE this. I don't want to have this for the rest of my life, being that I'm eighteen. I fear side effects, horribly, and don't know what to do anymore.
