Claudication usually is worse with physical activity, and better from rest. Could you describe the sensation he has in his legs in detail?
Has he had any kind of medical tests looking at circulation or nerve conduction?
Any other medical issues at all?
Any restlessness in the legs?
Customer:
I think they performed a doppler in his left leg and they said the artey was damaged and surgery had to be done. He goes to the veteran hospital here in Puerto Rico. But then he stopped smoking and like I told you,started taking the niacin and the vitamin E and the pain stopped in his left leg and then began in his right leg. And yes , I remember that with his left leg activity was painful but with his right leg it is the other way around. He saw the surgeon last week and he said he didnot need surgery now because he has pulse on both legs. yes he feels restlessness on the right leg and sometimes numbness on the metatarsal head area and gluteal and hamstring area. Other medical issues, HBP, heart fibrilation and used to smoke crack (being clean for a year)

You could consider giving him Rhus-toxicodendron (homeopathic) in a 30c potency for the leg issues. This would be taken no more than once daily....2-3 pellets on/under the tongue.

If this remedy is not effective within the first week, then change to homeopathic Arsenicum album (also in a 30c potency). Take it the same way.

can you tell me a website where i can order this homeopathic medicine? do you think he has claudication on both legs? It seems to me that maybe it's the ciatic nerve bothering on the right since the symptoms are the contrary of the left leg. Would this medicine work for both things?

If you've not found a source for the homeopathic remedy, try "Homeopathy Overnight" online. This remedy is also widely available at health food stores.
This medicine fits the symptoms which you described to me...it will help with the problem regardless of whether it is claudication or sciatica.
