I purchased a Pioneer digital audio player (xdp-300r) on line (Amaxon.jp) about 6 months ago. The unit is amazing but recently I've had problems with the micro usb port which, with repeated use, appears to have recessed too far within the device to the point where I can't get a connection with a usb cable. This makes both charging the device and transferring data impossible. I'm reluctant to send the unit back to Amazon.jp (I live in Melbourne, Australia) and was hoping I could send the device to an authorised Pioneer repairer in Australia. Just prior to Christmas my wife went out and purchased a Bose Soundbar 300, surround sound Bose speakers, a Base Mode 300, a sony cd/bluray player at JB HiFi after she was told that it would all hook up to our 7 year old Kogan Television.
