I have a Yamaha...

I have a Yamaha RX-V1700 Receiver that has not been powered up in four years. It will not respond to the power on switch.

Technician's Assistant: When could you last turn on your RX-V1700?

The last time was in April 2013

Technician's Assistant: Do you have access to a voltmeter to test the voltage coming from the AC adapter?

Unfortunately No.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Instrument Expert to know before I connect you?
