Using DeRemote after Denon app failed to connect Sirius XM.

Customer Question

Using DeRemote after Denon app failed to connect Sirius XM. It has worked for months and now does not connect to XM. When I go to A/V sources, SiriusXM is on the list but when I select, it stays selected for 5 seconds then goes to other selection.
JA: What's the make/model number of your stereo? How old is it?
Customer: Denon AVR-X1200W 2015
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Nothing happened except the Denon remote app stuck on an XM station and wouldn't react so I uninstalled app and downloaded DeRemote. Now DeRemote wont let XM be selected
JA: Anything else you want the theater expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, this has been the most frustrating equipment I've ever owned.

Have you tried restarting the phone completely?

Rebooted phone, receiver, uninstalled and reinstalled app twice.

Have you tried going into the sources and removing XM specifically and then adding it back as a source?
