I have a SoundDock Series III, it worked perfectly withmy

good morning , I have a SoundDock Series III, it worked perfectly withmy IPhone 6, I have chaged my IPhone for the 7, and the SoundDock seems not to recognize the new IPhone
JA: What's the make/model number of your stereo? How old is it?
Customer: it fairly new bought it last year, serial number is *****
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: disconnected the SoundDock from power left it for 5 minutes, removed the IPod from the dock as well, tried to connect several times. it does charge the phone but does not recognize the sound
