Customer Question

It's announcing "disk error" in all four openings, and local repair says t's a non-functioning "lazer." do you have a repair service in Santa Fe. NM, or near Pueblo, CO, or do I need to send to a central repair location?
JA: What's the make/model number of your stereo? How old is it?
Customer: Hang on, need to do something else at this very moment! Will write answers again soon as I can.
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Nothing but normal use. Have tried only local repair guy.
JA: Anything else you want the theater expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: It's very dusty in Santa fe...hope it just needs cleaning and minor repair. really LOVE my Bose!

Hi and welcome to the site, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, would you consider / try using a cleaning disc? ...similar to the products shown HERE.

This would serve as both an attempt of a fix and as a test.

Please post back results / observations of the above once tried.
