Hi Fred, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, please re-confirm that it is a VocoPro KJM-7808 Karaoke.

Still, proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done):

  • • check/replace the connecting cables (even if just to eliminate as a suspect);
  • • check the plug and jacks;
  • • try using other output connections such as MONITOR, RECORD, UNBALANCED if available;
  • • check if "...bad connection and/or generates a hum sound..." persiost even when using headphones.

All others would be internal and would require the use of a multi-meter and a soldering iron.
