Hello, Can you please elaborate "seems to be in new condition"? Was it purchased used?

Also, I need some more info to solve this:

1) Is the receiver also connected to your TV with an HDMI cable?

2) Is the TV on the correct Input setting?

hi i bought the pioneer unit new.
yes i am using a hdmi cable i can change the input settings but always get a "no signal"

What I'm asking is if the TV is on the CORRECT INPUT setting. Meaning if you're plugged into HDMI 1 on the TV, is the TV set to HDMI 1?

Also are you able to get the Pioneer's OSD to show up on the TV?

Also try another HDMI cable between the Pioneer and the TV, select the correct Input on the TV and then see if you can get the Pioneer's SETUP MENU on the TV. You can't use the receiver until you run through setup. Let me know.
