Customer Question

I have a vintage Kenwood JD 66F which the to tone arm will not cue onto the record. Have tried both manual ans automatic with no success. It moves to the edge of the record and then returns to the support.
Would you by chance have any idea what the issue may be?

Hi Charles,

This can happen if the grease on the turntable mechanism is old and hardened. The restriction will cause the tone-arm to return to the support.

Try cleaning off all of the old grease and apply fresh grease to the tone-arm mechanism.

Let me know how it works out?
