we have had a Denon A VR-S510BT for a few months. we have a samsung smart TV- receiver is connected to external Polk Audio Speakers. we were never able to get sound from our DVD player. yesterday, we actually made the effort to get sound from the DVD player- but, in so doing, we now have no sound from the speakers when watching regular TV- we have to get sound directly from the TV itself. Keep in mind- neither my husband or myself are very tech savvy! & just FYI- we have Dish satellite, if that matters. can you help us?

Hello, In order to solve this problem, we need much more information. Please provide this and we can proceed.

1) The full model number off of the back of the TV.

2) How is the DISH receiver connected to the TV- and/or to the Denon?

3) How is the Denon connected to the TV (using what cables and to which ports)?

4) What is the make and model of your DVD player?

5) Who set this system up and are you familiar with the connections if you needed to do this again?
