Protect mode indicates that there is a fault with the speakers or the amplifier.
Try disconnecting the speakers, then turn the stereo on again.
If it is out of Protect mode then one or more of the speakers has a fault, or the speaker wiring was shorted out.
If it still shows Protect mode on the display then the built-in amplifier has a fault and it will require a repair.
The only reset you can try is to unplug the power supply for a few minutes and try again.
If the system still shows Protect mode when the speakers are disconnected then the internal amplifier is faulty and will need to be replaced.
