WE purchased in 1999 a Denon DRA-375D/275R that just went dead.
Is it repairable?
Are new ones still available?
What would be a close replacement
we want to play radio AM/FM, turn table, DVD/CD player and maybe an old tape.

If not, then it is most likely "dead" as you mentioned, meaning a bad power supply or control board.It could be fixed, but is not worthwhile to do so. You'd spend twice as much on repairs as you would to buy a whole new system with a fresh warranty.Denon doesn't really make a stereo (2 speaker) only system any more, but you could go with another brand/model for that, or update to a surround sound system from denon.Here are 2 I'd suggest:
