Here is my setup. I own a Yamaha RX-A670, 7.2 Channel AV
I own a Yamaha RX-A670, 7.2 Channel AV Receiver and have been having a problem the speaker shutting off at high volume or bass. I have had the receiver checked out by an authorized repair center and they found nothing wring with the receiver and asked me to check my speaker connections for stray wires that could be causing a short. I now use bananna clips on all connections and am confident that their are no stray wires or speaker shorts. I am convinced that the issue has to be something with either the crossover settings or an impedence imbalance. I need some help. Here is my 7.1 home theater setup: Receiver: Yamaha RX-A670 Front Speakers: Klipsch AW650 (8 Ohm; Freq Response: 70-20KHz) Center Speaker: Def Tech Mythos 7 Center Speaker (8 Ohm; Freq Response: 60-30Khz); Rear Speakers: Klipsch AW525; 8 Ohm, 35W Freq Response: 57-20Kz) Surround Speakers: Klipsch R-1650-C (8Ohm, 35W, Freq Response: 57-20Kh) What do you recommend?
