Technician's Assistant: Are you trying to access your DVR using a computer, or on the DVR itself?

I on my computer.

Technician's Assistant: Did you buy your DVR new or did you receive it secondhand? Do you have an email address on file for your DVR?

What is a DVR ?

the proceed light come on, but no commands work. the code on the back of the book does not work either.

The p light on the keypad is usually only used to add or change the code.
