Sorry for any delay.

Does the safe give a confirmation beep indicating that you have used the correct factory code?

If so, then the lock mechanism may have jammed - try hitting the door with a rubber mallet a few times to help loosen it and let me know if that works?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Thanks get back to you in a couple hours
Expert:  Pete replied 3 months ago.

Ok.

One other thing - do you have the master override key that comes with the safe when new?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Do not have override key. Tried the rubber hammer, didn't work. Doesn't get a green light after the code is entered.
Expert:  Pete replied 3 months ago.

Do you get any color of light at all?

If the lock is jammed stuck or the code doesn't work and you don't have the override key then a locksmith will be required to open the safe.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
get a red light while entering the unlock code
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Just don't get a green to open
Expert:  Pete replied 3 months ago.

Ok, then either the batteries are too low or the code is incorrect.

Check that the batteries are good and fresh, and are making good contact inside the battery compartment.

If there is any buildup of corrosion on the battery terminals then remove it.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Batteries are new and tested.no corrosion, using correct factory code with key in the lock getting a red light while entering the unlock code, does not click with a green light to open.
Expert:  Pete replied 3 months ago.

In that case there isn't anything else you can try - a locksmith will be required to open the safe.

Just what I thought this would would turn out to be WORTHLESS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK
