S my question again: i have got a SHR-6042/6040 Samsung 4

here's my question again:i have got a SHR-6042/6040 Samsung 4 cameras connected for security reasons at homeSamsung video security system couple of years at home
installed about 6 years
i have changed password ***** open recordings afew weeks ago, however not able to view as this system doesn't accept the new password ***** accept any previous used passwords....
how can i unlock/pass by this issue enabling me to view recordings?as recordings are being overwritten
would appreciate prompt advice

Have you tried using the default ID and Password:


Password: 4321

Failing that hold down the Mode and PTZ buttons together for about 15 seconds, depending on the firmware this will reset the settings to default without wiping the recorded data.

fyg have tried the default and other passwords - but failed !so will try the second suggestion and I will let you know the result !

Ok in that case your only option is to perform a full factory reset, which will wipe all recordings and settings.
