The DVR was full and I un plugged till husband got there

the DVR was full and I un plugged till husband got there because it was beeping and now when he plugged it back up it says no signal and a continuous beep
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: it is like a year old 8 shannel Q918
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: we have unplugged it for 30 seconds and tried to replug it in but we get nothing the TV says no signal
JA: Anything else you want the security expert to know before I connect you?

The beeping indicates a problem with the hard drive.

To resolve this,

1) Check the Hard Drive.

2) Disconnect the power cable from the DVR.

3) Disconnect the power & data cable from the hard drive. Plug them back into the hard drive.

4) Connect the power cable to the DVR.

5) Power on the DVR again.

6) If it is still beeping, then the DVR has a fault and it will need to be returned to QSee.
