Hi there and welcome

Can you follow the instructions on my link below to perform a factory reset

Once done, use the default password ***** 4321

Tell me if you can now access it please

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
My dvr is not the model you listed instructions for and do not work for mine. It does not have a reset pin hole. Mine is a Honeywell model:HRDP16D2T0 H.264 DVR serial no: R290 400066 manufacturer date: 10/17/2011
Expert:  Richard replied 10 months ago.

ok, the specifications from Honeywell indicated you should have had it also on your model, I was just using the link for pictorial reference.

Can you try though 4321 which is the default, is that accepted?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
It did not work..... the manual for mine says the default password ***** <blank >.

No matter what I do, I can't seem to reset it, I tried removing the BIOS Battery, several different passwords, etc
Expert:  Richard replied 10 months ago.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
15mins or so?
Expert:  Richard replied 10 months ago.

ok, leave it out for two hours, put it back in and tell me if this resets it please, motherboards need this for the cmos to run out of power

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
