Customer Question

Hello, I have a visonic powermax pro, it works perfectly well, I've recently bought your wireless siren, enrolled it, the diagnostic confirms the signal is strong and I can hear the external siren briefly during that test. But when triggering the alarm only the powermax pro internal siren works, the external wireless siren stays silent

Hi Michel,

I am Pete, and I'll be happy to assist with your question today.

Do you have the MCS-700 wireless siren?

If so, open it up and hold the ‘SLF TST’ button for three seconds.

A low-level sound should be emitted and the strobe should flash.

Let me know if the self test is successful?

I've got the MCS-740, yes I've done the test, I've enrolled correctly the siren, I did the diagnostic also and the siren communicates correctly with the alarm. It's only when the alarm is triggered that the external wireless siren is silent despite the internal siren working.

Ok, I think in that case it may be faulty - could you get it exchanged for another siren?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I bought 2 and tried with the other one also, it's the same. It's like the alarm doesn't tell the siren to shout when triggered. I've read the manual 3 times and can't find a menu to change such a setup

Ok, let me check if the other techs have any idea on this problem...
