How long before I get an answer? It was high priority!
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I bypassed an alarm zone in my home and want to undo the bypass so it will be functional for alarm setting but I cannot find out how to do it even after reading the manual and checking for answers online. It is a ADT Safewatch Pro 3000 unit.

Hi there

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Do you have an answer for me ?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It is asking me to pay, I already paid via PayPal!

The bypass zones need to be entered each time you set the alarm.

So if you don't want to bypass any zones, then just set the alarm as normal.

Is the control panel telling you that a zone is bypassed?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the control panel shows "armed" but zone 19 bypass. So are you saying if I set the alarm for armed then set off the alarm and clear it with my code the bypass will be reset?

25 May 2016 05:52Yes the control panel shows "armed" but zone 19 bypass. So are you saying if I set the alarm for armed then actually set off the alarm then put in my code to silence it; it will automatically clear the bypassed zone and it will be able to be monitored again?
Expert:  Pete replied 1 year ago.

Yes, if you set the alarm as normal the bypass should no longer show on the control panel.

Let me know if that works for you?
