Customer Question

I bought this house and the Vivint system was here. It was not activated but it did chime when the doors opened. I mistakenly pushed to set the alarm and I was never given the code and cannot locate the old owner.

Hi Once the system is armed and you don't have the code then there is little that can be done other dismantling the system altogether... Did you receive any remotes for the house? With no way to disarm the alarm has to be dismantled and shut down completely, a technician would then have to default the alarm back to default and reprogram from scratch.
