VerifiedWith the size of the damage there are several products you can use. There is a product called Bondo putty that painters use a lot. It is available at a Lowes if there is one close to you or a paint store. It may take more than one application. After it dries sand smooth and prime before painting. You can also use wood putty but that would be more expensive and a little harder to use. Make sure you remove all loose material before using either product.
