Can u answer my question
Expert:  WCohn replied 8 months ago.

If you are after the yellowish pantena of the era of your house then I'd use a varathane. If you want something tougher then I'd use a Polyurethane

Is there anything to take out the pet urine stain?
Expert:  WCohn replied 8 months ago.

You have a stain in the wood?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
can y not see my original question with out retuning all of it
Expert:  WCohn replied 8 months ago.

Yes, I'm sorry it didn't all show up on the screen without scrolling. The dog urine stain can not be removed. You could try to Hide it by staining the floor before top coating it

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
What stain do u recommend and what kind of finish this is my first time as the one I employed didn't seem to stay on the job more than an hour or two every 2or3days. Now I have 24 guests on thanksgiving and a floor in the middle of refinishing
Expert:  WCohn replied 8 months ago.

The stain depends on the color you want, but I'd use a minwax brand. Great product. Topcoat if time is an issue use this

I wanted light but as the pet stains r dark can I mix a light paint in with the poly?
Expert:  WCohn replied 8 months ago.

No, You can't tint the poly!! Sorry, but you need to use a penetrating stain the let it dry before topcoating it.
