I recently had a deck with roof built, the roof covers a 16x24 foot. The truss and supports were built with 2x6, does this meet code. I am afraid it is structurally unsafe.

How long are the rafters? is it a gable or a shed roof? where do you live?

Its a cable in the middle covering about 16ft and then 4ft on either side of the cable the rafters are running a span of 24ft but they are joined to make the 24ft.
