Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

Remove the wall button, disconnect the 2 wires connected.

Then touch the 2 wires together for about a count of one one thousand and see if the door opens and closes fine.

Programming has nothing to do with the wall button, it is directly connected and needs no programming.

Maybe the problem is remotes, but lets verify the wall wires will open and close normally first.

Ok, thanks for the testing.

Looks like the main board has failed and needs replacing. It controls everything in the opener.

Since the wall control wires will not have any effect, there isnt anything else in the loop.,

You might try using 2 short wires and connect at the terminals where the wall button wires just to verify the wires going down have not been cut or damaged.

If it doesnt function in any way with that test, then it will confirm

.might consider a new opener, the board will run $65 to $90 depending on where it is purchased. since it is an old unit from 1995

Let me know anything further , can locate a board online if needed
