Customer Question

I have a question related to rodent control. I just found a dead mouse in my boiler room in the basement. Typically the house is immaculate but a bit of clutter has accumulated down there (boxes, supplies, etc). Should I assume that if I found one mouse
there are more mice to be concerned with or could this be an isolated incident?

Most of the time where there is 1 mouse there's likely to be more. How clean you keep the house is not a contributing factor. Mice naturally seek shelter indoors as the weather gets colder. It's possible the one you found is a "scout" but probably not. Putting out traps or bait (if you don't have house pets) should reveal if that one was just a one off or not
