Customer Question

I have a lift master 3950 opener that seems to only open and close a maximum of 15 revolutions of the opener gear. I doesn't seem to want to set the limit as much as my door requires which is about 30 turns. Any thoughts?

Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

Was not able to determine exactly what has been done with the posting information.

Have you attempted to reset the travel limits on the opener?

Is this with the door buttons or a remote or both , that it performs incorrectly?

Let me know and we can continue,

Thanks

I have reset the door limits over and over. It will max out after 15 turns. My question is does the rotary limit end at 15?
Expert:  AssuredElectrical replied 1 year ago.

The only limit on the opener is the 12 ft door height. As long as the door is 12 ft high or less, the opener will have sufficient rotations to open and close.

That is the only rotation limit
