I have a Linear DTLB remote control transmitter using DIP

I have a Linear DTLB remote control transmitter using DIP switches. The code is 2 down, 4 up, 2 down but the Chamberlain I bough has 4 extra DIP switches. It will not work with the 4 extra switches up.What can I do o make the Chamberlain work?

What opener did you have previously to getting this Chamberlain opener?

I tried switching the other four switches to the other position and it still does not work!
My other opener is a Linear DTLB Mini Remote control transmitter at 310 MHz.
