Customer Question

I am looking at covering a stage with plexiglass floor. It will be completely supported by blocks underneath so there is no span. What kind of plexiglass do I need? and what thickness?

You want Lexan not plexiglass. Lexan is much more durable/impact resistant. If the Lexan will be completely supported then you can use 1/8". If there will be any voids (more than a few square inches) under the Lexan then 1/2" would be more suitable. While Lexan is highly impact resistant it's not very scratch resistant. It is coated when it is used for eyeglass lenses.
