Hi dana. I am a maple water producer (i don't produce sirup yet) and lumber producer so i know quite a bit about them. Do you know the type of mapple you have? For exemple i suspect it is a Silver Mapple but it may be something else.

Dana, i forgot to say that i would like to see the pictures if you can take them (i could identify the tree that way also).
