Customer Question

We have a Liftmaster DC3500 and the door will not go up or come down with remote control. We have to use it manually. Earlier it was okay. The light at the bottom on the left side is flashing green and the light on the right side is orange and stationary. When we press the remote it makes a feeble attempt to close or open.

The condition you are describing
Is often caused by the safety sensors.
Located where you are seeing the green and
the orange light.
First make sure they are lined up with each other .
They can get bent or knocked out of line.
Make sure nothing is between them blocking
their line of sight. (Spider webs , leaves, etc)
Make sure there are no loose or disconnected
wires to either sensor
If none if these are the cause the sensors
may need to be replaced.
Best to replace them as a set.
I will be glad to answer any questions you may have
