I have an RBG 1300 with a 1/2 horse electric motor on it. When I turn the power switch on I have to turn the grinding wheel by hand to get it started to spinning, but once it gets going it works fine it just won't start spinning unless it is helped along. Is this fixable without taking the motor apart?
Hi there happy to help.

There is a starter unit in or attached to the motor. It contains a capacitor that gets your motor turning. This has likely failed.

I am unable to find this part # XXXXX you, but if you call here.......

They will be able to check into this part for you.

If they have it it will not be expensive.
