how do i clean candle wax off brick

Use the same method that one would use to remove candle wax from fabric. Here's how:

Use a clothes iron. Adjust the heat just high enough to soften the wax without making it really runny. Don't worry about the bricks, they can take the heat. Too cold and the wax will not soften, too hot and the mess will get worse, not better.

Use a cloth or brown paper bag. Iron over the spilled wax. The candle wax will soften, then stick to the cloth or bag. Keep the iron moving, to avoid overheating the bag or the wax.

Be patient and adjust the heat gradually. A little experimentation on the wax and you will soon determine just how hot is "just right".
