How to fix a lava lamp when the lava does not rise and drop for some unknown reasons and there are some bubbles in the lava?

That won't keep it from working proper. Lava lamps are pretty much water and oil (not really but you get the idea) in a sealed jar. The liquid is heated and the 2 liquids get hot and cool down at different rates, creating the movement.
