Hello

You don't have HIV

The risk was already extremely low with protected oral.

In fact, it would have been extremely low with oral.

And a negative test at 11 weeks pretty much cinches it.

No HIV.

OK, so that is an initial answer….

Please use reply to expert if you have further questions. When you are ready, please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent]. If you forgot something, come back. I am here daily.

No it was unprotected oral not protected Dr
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

Still NO HIV

Unprotected is less than 1/10 of 1%.

With your negative test....you don't have it!!!

please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent]. If you forgot something, come back. I am here daily.

What makes me anxious is that window period of 90 days and mine was at 77 days
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

There is no window period of 90 days.

You are thinking of the antibody seroconversion.....

If you want to ease your mind, just have an ELISA ...it is the gold standard at 90 days.

Have it done in a lab, no home testing...

You don't have HIV however.

what is the window period coz am really tired of testing again
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

I see no reason to test again.

Except for your anxiety.

I don't believe you will rest until you have the gold standard.

Please click a positive rating at this point.

And you should be talking to your doctor.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

What is the window period of fourth generation hiv test that is ab/ag
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

It is variable, up to 21 days.

You were beyond that, so there is no evidence of HIV.

The "window" period is a time in which the test might be false negative.

That does not apply to you.

The conversion period in rare cases can take up to 3 months.

That is why the ELISA is still the gold standard.

I see that we have answered these questions for you repeatedly.

No one here has thought that you have HIV>

HOwever, we are only paid, and can only spend our time, for positive ratings.

We are only paid PER positive rating, not for our time.

Please click a positive rating now. Come back after that if you like.

I would be glad to close the question or opt out.

One last question plz
Explain in details why oral sex on a female is negligible risk i need to know the technicalities plz plz
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

Because we have statistics.

It has almost never been transmitted that way.

I need to see a positive rating at that point.

Even if you come back for another question, do that first.

100% i dont have hiv and no need to retest and move on????
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

If you had an approved lab test...move on.

If you did not, ELISA.

A positive now please. I can not continue otherwise, as I have explained.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ofcourse i did i live in Australia
I think we are advanced??
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

You are fine.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Can u tell me am 100% hiv negative from the information i gave u
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

Nothing is EVER 100% on line.

Only your own doctor can tell you that, sorry.

But, I am sure your doctor has.

So, if so, yes, 100%.

I don't see a positive rating.

I will close the question at this point.

Last question i promiseIf the hiv virus was there, it would have been picked up at 77 days?
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

I have answered this question.

90 days is the gold standard.

I will opt out of this thread at this point unless you would like to rate....can't answer more at this point.

Expert:  DrRussMD replied 1 year ago.

I said I don't think you do, and I don't.
Nor does anyone else here who you have asked.

Good luck. That's all I have for you.
