Customer: I have a Perkins generator Model NO MP 201
JA: What's the make and model of the generator? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: I just hooked it up last night it ran good However

The alarm would be triggered by oil pressure switch, high water temperature switch, or overspeed from engine. Unplug the two engine switches, one at a time and see if alarm stops. Overspeed would show if engine goes over rated generator speed, 1800, 2400, 2800,rpm ??
