VerifiedHello and welcome to Just Answer! I would be more than happy to assist you today.Yes Cummins markets all of their engine to such company's as Case,Komatsu,Dodge ect. When this happens the OEM locks out Cummins (Engine becomes Proprietary to Komatsu) and all parts and service must go through the OEM. In rare cases the engine serial number will come up in the Cummins System. Cummins can service the engine but getting parts becomes tough. All parts used for these engine's would be Genuine Cummins parts either way.
