Hi my name is Dan. I will try to help. Could you please post your serial number to be sure you get the correct information? In the meantime recheck your transmission oil level and your center pedal linkage adjustment. Was there any metal/debris noted or checked in the filters and oil when the machine was serviced and what oil was put back in?

Talked to my mecanic: Mechine brought In shop to put new UC on and service, no trans problems at that time. Low hours on trans oil so did not change. Removed filter and cut open for inspection, very clean with no metal (looked new) Oil didn't smell burnt. No oil samples taken or sent in. 10 wt oil in trans. All flouid levels good. Problem started when machine test ran in yard pulled out of warm garage, not cold. It seams like cavatation in pump. At times will hesatate or stop when changing travel directions. Sometimes have to shut down and re-start.
Hi I can continue working on this with you and post further information as we can post back and forth to hopefully resolve your problem
Ok thanks for the info. What is the machine serial number to be sure to get you the correct info?
963 SN: 21Z02585LGP No prior problems. Brought into shop for new UC and service. Low hours on trans. fluid so cut filter open to check, filter clean, installed new filter, trans flouid is 10wt. Removed from shop UC installed and servised. Taken to lower yard to run, problem developed at that time. Hesitation usually when changing direction of movement. Acts like pump cavatation. When happens move shuttle further (for more speed) and usually starts to move, if starts to move then have to move shuttle controol forward for slower. When working has normal power (will spin tracks as should). Sometimes have to shut down and restart, will operate correctly after this for short amount of time. The problem is not in the linkage, wrong trans. flouid or contamination.
Ok thanks for the info. Does the engine lug down under a load when this is happening like it is pulling against a brake breifly?
no
It is possible you could be slipping in your converter or there is excessive internal leakage in your clutch packs, A control valve problem, etc. Do you have the service book for this machine with all the pressure test specs and troubleshooting procedures? You will need to check your pressures to isolate your problem. The CAT service manual is SENR3193 and can be purchased from your local dealer. I have some info but I might have to pass this one on to Donnie as he would be able to provide you with more detailed information on testing your pressures. To help start here are some diagrams that will help you locate your pressure taps.
