VerifiedHello and welcome to Just Answer! I would be more than happy to assist you today. How much "HP" are you reading on your gauge? What symbol is in this gauge? What kind of HP do you expect?
Normally The ECM monitors all systems and if there was a issue it would throw a fault. Now since you say the Boost gauge dropped this could be a sign of a leak within the charge air system. It is common to get a rock in the charge air cooler, have a clamp start to come loose, or even a charge air hose get rubbed thru.These will all cause low boost. As will the ECM cutting back fuel to properly run the engine as per what it is seeing during engine operation. Now your calibration in the ECM is rated at 450 HP @ 1800 rpm but governed HP is 369 @ 2100 rpm. That is just a FYI, There is nothing you can do while the engine is still in warranty. The egr code should of been properly troubleshot and not just cleared and regened, This can be causing your issues and not throwing a fault yet. I would have them rerun the unit on a dyno and monitor the engine correctly. I see Rockey Mount looked at this engine. If the egr valve, cooler, or DPF/SCR issues this will also cause low power. Common issues with these engines are Egr coolers leaking, valve stem seals leaking oil in the aftertreatment system, Sticking erg valves and dropped liners. Just a FYI.
