VerifiedHello, My name is Steve and I may be able to help you out. from the description of the problem it sounds like a plugged fuel filter, when you operate a diesel engine under load with a plugged fuel filter, it will run fine for a second and then start to lose power, if you take the load away the speed will return as the fuel pressure increases until you load it again. Try replacing the fuel filters first if the problem still exists then let me know and we will try some more troubleshooting procedures. Thanks
