Hello, My name is Steve and I may help you out. Can you tell me what the engine model is?
Is it a newer unit or and older one?
Ok all of the information that I can find indicates that it is a Caterpillar C-15 engine, it will be cast into the valve cover, and it will not have fuel injection lines coming from the fuel injection pump. Here is the process to bleed the C-15 engine, there should be a hand priming pump on the engine and there will be a block with several fuel lines running into and out of it, on that block the word "bleed" will be cast into it, loosen the plug in the port next to that word and pump the priming pump for approx. 30 seconds, you should feel some resistance, this indicates that fuel is being pumped by the pump, next close the bleed plug and pump the priming pump until it is difficult to pump, you may hear a hissing noise coming from the bleed block, then try to start the engine, you may have to use a little bit of starting fluid to get it to go. I hope this helps, please let me know if you need any more information,
Thanks,
Steve Phillips
