If you have the secondary shift button by the servos verify that it also acts the same. Next if yours has a display, scroll to the transmision section and verify the screen says F2 and R2 when shifting forward and reverse. Okay I'm trying avian to see if I can type this without losing my information. So what I would like to see from you is to place the machine in manual mode, Once done try the operation of the gear selector. If the unit now goes into forward and up and down the gears by manually shifting then the most likely cause is the ecu was spiked with voltage and is failed. However I would still reconnect the ecu after restoring unit to auto position and go through the test using the sheets uploaded and see which direction that leads you. If hen placing the unit in manual mode and you still don't have a forward gear then the next step is to check the shifter and solenoids by first ohming the solenoids, should be 45 ohms each. Then checking power supply and distribution buy using the schematic provided. I will normally check the coils up by the computer plug. the smaller one is the solenoids the larger one is the shifter. So you can use your ohm meter and just hold the plug in your hand and one lead will go to the black wire (ground fro all solenoids) and the five solenoids wires have a little marking tape on each one, but colors are brown, green, yellow, white, gray. Once done and ohms are correct you can also use the same location to verify the voltage to each one by reconnecting plug and back probing the plug checking voltage to each coil depending or gear selection. This just makes it a lot easier too check up by the computer then trying to get in beside the transmision to check. Let me know if you need further help. Thanks Dan

Hi, on the back of the fuse panel directly below the relay is a white plastic plug with four terminals in it. That needs to be plugged into the relay . I thought the plug said rt-2 on it but I cant remember. The plug will only go on one way and the plastic body will stick out a little from the relay. As far as the shifting, you can shift on the fly just make sure your road speed is not to high for the gear you select. Thanks Dan

Okay you should be able to figure this out, no need for a tech. Just keep it simple and step by step. verify the shifter is sending the voltage and from there you can continue. One note to try is to apply voltage to the green wire or s-1 soleniod. Doing this will put the machine in foward 3rd gear and a simple test to make sure the transmision is okay.

Well, you have two options, either manually place the machine in forward using the screws on the side of the valve, or take the valve apart and inspect the spool springs.

If you look on the valve with the solenoids. On the opposite side from the solenoids are two screws sticking out with safety wire on them. cut the wire and turn the screws in with the machine off. Then restart and give it throttle to see if it will move. this manually pushes the spools into forward gear.
