Verifiedyour truck most likely has the hydromax unit on it for your brakes in case the engine stalls while driving you still have some brake. Under the hood and attached to the master cylinder. It is a small electric motor and has a 40 amp relay on it and if the relay goes bad the alarm will sound. If your brake fluid is low only the light by your rpm gage would be on. I would start by replacing the relay.
