I have a 753 bobcat...

I have a 753 bobcat skid steer (s/n XXXXXXXXX . Foot pedels are locking out when we start machine. All green lights come, machine will move, but won't lift or tilt. This has been problem for long time but operator usually slams safty bar until it starts working. This does not work any more. Last week we took hydralic control valve off to replace seal and boots for foot pedel controls. Got machine put back together and worked fine except for steering bars worked opposite to go foreward and backwards, we swap lines and that fixed steering problem, but now foot pedels will not release. It attemps to move but locks up. When machine is off I get full movement in pedels, so I think I got the detent balls and springs in correctly. Now one time yesterday it displayed (3) flashes on the valve light, but went back later after studing manual and light stayed green and would not flash. The manual I have tells you what to look for if it is the seat sensor, bar sensor or traction sensor, but nothing on the valve light. Please help.

I have a question for you, do you have a lap bar and seat bar light on right side of the seat?

yes it has and it also hase others and they are all green.

Hello again.

I have another question. So all the light are lite up? And you can move the pedals with it running but the boom and bucket will not go up. Does is sound like its running under high pressure when you move the pedals with it running?

It will start to move then it will stop like it is locked. The bucket will roll down but that is the only operation it will do then have to go to reverse to get it to roll back up. It does sound like it is under pressure. Could it be cross hydrolic line? or dirt in the hydrolic line?

Hi. Its sounds like the BICS solenoid is not working correctly. Flip your cab back and you should see 3 electrical solenoids. 2 of them look alike, they control the aux there is another solenoid in the center of the valve, This is the one you need to look at. That solenoid has to get energized to unlock the hyd controls. Just make sure its plugged in. then unplug the connection there and make sure the pins are not pushed back in the connector.
