# XXXXX is the pto switch, the paddle on the dash is supposed to be attached to it. The switch can be bad, or the paddle may no longer be moving it. You will have to look behind the dash to see what is going on. It will be something with the switch.

The pto clutch works, or it would not disengage when the key is turned off.
Customer:
the lever must be in the disengaged position in order for it to start. So would this indicate a bad SWITCH or a PADDLE problem?
